Morgan Weistling: Sanctuary Print | 69/225 | Mint Never Framed
Artwork Description
"Sanctuary," published in 2000 by Mill Pond Press, is a masterful example of Morgan Weistling’s ability to capture the profound beauty of faith and the human spirit. The scene features a young woman in late 19th-century attire, bathed in the soft, ethereal light of a quiet interior as she pauses for a moment of prayer or reflection. Weistling’s signature "contemporary impressionism" is on full display here; his expert brushwork renders the tactile textures of the fabric and the glowing skin tones with a realism that feels both intimate and timeless. This special limited edition on paper is highly prized for its low edition size and its ability to evoke a sense of peace and reverence in any setting.
