At SecondMoonshot Custom Picture Framing, every project that enters our studio is designed and hand-assembled by a single, dedicated craftsman. We stand behind our research-backed methods, premium materials, and precision handiwork for as long as you own your frame.

We don't cut corners, and we don't use budget materials. We take on complex, non-standard projects that other shops decline—delivering conservation and museum-grade protection and tailored designs built to endure for generations.

What We Cover for Life

• Flawless Craftsmanship & Assembly We guarantee precision joinery, heavy-duty hanging hardware built for long-term stability, and a completely dust- and particle-free interior seal under the glazing upon delivery.

• Material Integrity & Preservation We guarantee 100% defect-free components. Every moulding, acid-free mat board, protective glazing, and rigid backing board is selected to ensure maximum preservation for your art or photography.

• Accidental Damage Support (Materials-Only Repair) Life happens. If your frame is accidentally damaged in your home or studio, bring it back to us. We will repair or rebuild it at our direct cost of materials only—zero labor fees.

Terms & Eligibility

Our Commitment to Original Owners & Trade Partners

The Lifetime Workmanship & Materials Guarantee remains valid for as long as the original SecondMoonshot framer’s label remains fully intact and attached to the back of the frame, provided the piece has not been altered, reframed, or tampered with by any outside party.

Transferability

• Direct Clients: For custom projects crafted directly for individual clients, this Guarantee is non-transferable and applies exclusively to the original owner.

• Artist & Photographer Partners: For registered trade partners who resell their own framed works to end consumers, this Guarantee fully transfers to the initial purchaser. The end consumer inherits our full Lifetime Workmanship & Materials Guarantee upon purchasing the framed piece.

Exclusions & Client-Supplied Materials

• Customer-Provided Materials: While we apply the same rigorous hand-assembly and precision joinery to every project entering our studio, our Guarantee applies strictly to materials sourced, tested, and supplied by SecondMoonshot Custom Picture Framing. Materials provided directly by the customer (including vintage frames, antique mats, or outside glazing) are excluded from material coverage.

• Accidental Damage Support on Client Materials: If a frame utilizing customer-provided elements is accidentally damaged, we will gladly assist with repairs or rebuilds using our standard materials under our direct cost of materials model—zero labor fees.
