Michael Sieve (b. 1954) is a world-renowned wildlife artist and an avid sportsman whose work is deeply informed by his personal experiences in the field. A native of Minnesota, Sieve studied art at Southwest State University before embarking on a prolific career that has seen over 150 of his paintings reproduced as limited edition prints. He is a frequent contributor to conservation efforts, having designed numerous stamps and prints for organizations like the National Wild Turkey Federation and Ducks Unlimited. Known for his "action" scenes and biological accuracy, Sieve’s work is characterized by a profound respect for the animals he portrays and the wilderness they inhabit.
