Artwork Description
"Friend or Foe" is a masterclass in tension and wildlife realism by the legendary Guy Coheleach. The composition features a striking, close-up study of a leopard whose piercing gaze and defensive posture capture a split-second moment of uncertainty in the wild. Published by the prestigious Mill Pond Press in 1996, this print showcases Coheleach’s signature ability to render intricate textures—from the soft, dappled fur to the moisture in the predator's eyes—with scientific accuracy and emotional depth. Unlike larger commercial runs, this edition was restricted to just 250 impressions, making it a highly sought-after piece for serious wildlife art collectors.
