Artwork Description

In "Where The Heart Is," Colin Poole presents a poignant and heartwarming scene that explores the deep emotional bonds within the natural world. This piece features a beautifully rendered depiction of a woman and her loyal canine companion, capturing a moment of quiet, shared sanctuary. Poole’s mastery lies in his ability to infuse realism with a gentle, narrative soul; the soft textures of the subject's clothing and the expressive, lifelike gaze of the dog create a powerful sense of belonging and peace.

The artwork is a testament to the idea that "home" is not merely a place, but a connection to those we love. Published by the renowned Mill Pond Press, this print showcases the delicate balance of light and shadow that has made Poole a favorite among collectors of contemporary realism and figurative art.
