Published by Hadley House in 1997, this specific print is a rare Artist Proof from a small edition of only 99, offering a higher level of exclusivity than the standard limited edition run.
Artist Bio
Bryan Moon was a British-born American artist whose career spanned from high-level corporate advertising to world-renowned wildlife and whimsical painting. A former Vice President of Northwest Airlines, Moon dedicated himself fully to art in 1987, gaining fame for his "anthropomorphic" depictions of cats and dogs. His work is characterized by a "living the experience" philosophy—he famously spent time in Africa to study big cats before translating those instincts into his domestic subjects. While widely loved for his humor, Moon was a highly respected technical artist whose "serious" works reside in the permanent collections of the U.S. Air Force Academy and the Royal Air Force Museum.
